To the Christian Hobbit
Radagast Da Foo'

I know you've been expecting some responses after your last posting, (10-12-02), especially from the Mormons as you put it. Yes, this site should be open to discussion about LotR and Christianity, as you say yourself. Not, though, to arguments about, for example, whether Mormons are Christians or not. I enjoy religous debate, such as what you are doing, and so I can't resist to argue with you a little. About the scripture in revelations, it says (paraphrased) "Do not add or change this book or you shall be cursed" something like that. Did you ever consider that when it mentions "this book" that it's talking about the book of revelations, not the bible. After all, when John wrote that scripture, the bible wasn't in it's whole form. The different parts weren't combined all into one "bible." We didn't change the book of revelations or add to it. Even if you ignore that and say that John did mean the bible, the Book of Mormon is a seperate work than the bible. It didn't change it at all, and didn't really add to it.
In Ecclesiastes (chp 38 I think), it mentions the stick of Judah and the stick of Ephraim. The Bible is the stick of Judah, because those were the people who were writing it. The stick of Ephraim is the Book of Mormon, because the descendants of Ephraim wrote that. It mentions how when the two are combined you get the full doctrine or something like that.
