Two Towers for Mim
Derin Lorecryer
Dear Mim,
I am new to the whole debate thing so bear with my typos please. But I have recently become a big LOTR fan, in answer to your question as to which two towers Tolkien speaks off in the aptly named book. I have always read that he referrs to the link between the betrayal of Orthanc and pure evil of Barad'dur through the palantril. I think the reason for this is all the goings-on that happen in the book are a direct result of that union and the effort to break it by the forces of the remaining fellowship. I hope that I've helped and not confused you anymore.
