To Andrew and Curious George
Lem

The Dunedain (correct me if I'm wrong) have a longer life span than most normal men, of about 200 or more years, I do believe. A reference to their long lives is made in the Silmarillion, if my memory is correct, but maybe not in LotR.

Curious George, I too ended up hating A Beautiful Mind and I refused to see it just because it beat Lord of the Rings. Besides, it doesn't look that interesting anyway. Ah well. Better luck next time, I hope.

Oh and to Wandering Wizard, thank you for thoroughly clearing up the whole religion/Tolkien debate (I hope). No offense to anyone, but I am sick of hearing the same points about Tolkien and religion stated over and over again, so could we please get on with the topics?

What did you all think of the images that Frodo (and in the book, Sam) saw in Galadriel's mirror?
