Ages in the Movies
Rune of Mirkwood

In the Third Age, human longivity existed. Indeed, although Strider is handsome and very strong and athletic himself, he is 87 years old, but yes..looks a lot younger! Frodo is actually around 50 years old, but I am glad Jackson didn't make the characters to play old men, trying to accomplish their adventures and hardships! They would of never made it in the Mine of Moria! Strider lives to the ripe old age of 210 years..and sadly for Arwen, passes on.
Also, you can also check with the Encyclopedia of Arda website, for any details on characters, creatures, and places in Tolkien's fine works.
