Aragorn's Age and Entwives
Radagast Da Foo'

Aragorn seems young though he is in his 80's because he is of the line of Numenor. His ancestor is Elros, the brother of Elrond, who was half-elven. This is why the Numenoreans lived so long.
Fiddlesticks brings up very interesting information and ideas about the entwives. The hobbits weren't all female, so is it possible that one of the wives eventually bred with a man? That would quicken the change. Maybe the being was one of the Beornings. This is a stretch, but that would explain the hairy feet of the hobbits.
I will hereby not post any more religous arguments no matter what C.H./Quirk says, or anyone else.
