'Frodo's Dream' Question

Danny - I don't happen to have a copy of the Fellowship here with me, but if memory serves, Frodo had the dream about the Sea and the tower at the house at Crickhollow. At the end of the dream he heard thunder in the distance. This thunder turned into Merry pounding on the door to wake them all. I've always taken his dream to be a foreshadowing of his leaving Middle Earth after completing his task. Prophecy? I don't know. It may be that, being the Ringbearer, he heard the call of the Sea. The tower I took to be the tower at the Grey Havens.
