It is all too soon to know what New Line Cinema will decide to do with the DVD versions that will soon be coming out on The Two Towers and The Return of The King in 2004 (after the movie...) but, there is an article that was just posted and I think you can read for yourself that they are listening to "the fans". You may copy this link and read for yourself on what they are trying to decide. I agree; there are too many versions out there: Widescreen, Special, Platium, Director's Choice...why not make one or two versions? It all has to do with money, as we well know. Hope this link will help you some...Hey, they don't even know yet!
