Re: Whats Going to Be in the Next Two Movies
Tynsin Nimue

In reeply to Strider4632:

Okay, lets take your questions one at a time;

Yes, Saruman is going to die in TTT. I think that he gets skewered on some of his 'Devilry' i.e. machinery that he has hanging around Isengaurd whilst the Ents are flooding him out. I think they did this because, as you said they are not going to have all that stuf in the Shire where he gets killed in the book. They can not just leave a main bad guy's ending unexplained so they have to kill him off sooner rather than later.
Don't ask me why they cut this out. I am not Peter Jackson. i do not know these things. However I gess they cut this ending off because the adverage audience in the cinema is going to expect an exciting ending- the Ring being distroyed and Aragorn and Arwen getting hitched. Going into about another half hour after the expected ending is not going to leave the audience very impressed. Like the cutting of Tom Bombadil, It is a bad deviation from the books; but a welcome one.

As for yur question about Shelob- don't worry, she's in it alright. They have simply moved the stuf with her to the beginning of ROTK. As you can imagene,leaving this huge cliff-hanger of whether Frodo is alive or not; and for (in the case of those who have not read the books) it to be a year until we find out the answer is not a good idea. So they move it into the beginning of the next one and make it a main theme of the new film's story.
There you go!
Feel free to point out any mistakes in my opinions, as I said I am not PJ and do not know the real reasons. So they are always up for discussion until I ascend and become him!
