The White City
Redhorn

In answer to Rune of Mirkwood, the city which Gandalf stopped at to read the records was none other than Minas Tirith! For one who seems to know so much (for instance the elvish you used in your last post) I am surprised that you didn't realize this. Any way now you know the answer to your question.

I am now re-reading TTT and today I finished chapter 7 of Book II entitled: Journey to the Cross-Roads. At the end of the chapter Frodo, Sam and Gollum are standing next to the be-headed statue of some ancient king. Frodo looks at the fallen head and notices a ring of flowers forming a crown around the head. Frodo then says: "They cannot conquer forever!"

I think this is a beautiful scene, and I think it would be a great ending to the second movie. I recomend you all to read this chapter and see for yourself.

Well that's all I have to say. Farewell.
