Re: Can Someone Advise on This One?
Elbereth
Rune of Mirkwood,
This is my idea on that scene. The orcs probably were not as hesitant went they barged in to the Chamber of Mazarbul because they didn't know what they were in for and who they were going to have to fight. They also had their cave troll, so perhaps that gave them more confidence. Maybe, when the other orcs saw that the group of orcs that attacked the fellowship first didn't come back and their troll was dead, they thought they should be more cautious. The second group of orcs saw what they were in for, and as we know, Aragorn in Battle with Narsil, and Gandalf with Glamdring (elven swords in general)is a very fearful sight for their enemies. Hope this helps.
I also have a comment on the Christian/Tolkien debate. I am a christian myself but i agree with others on this site that it is time to get on with it. Everyone has their own opinions about different religions, but this site was made to discuss Tolkien's works and share ideas about it with each other, not to try to convert someone to their own beliefs. This is a site which is unique because people who have different opinions and beliefs can have something in common(being fan's of Tolkiens works). See you all later.
