November 25, 2002 Great Essays! In response to Curious George, first...thank you! Your response to me was polite, courteous, and softly spoken. But I reacted to your first writing and you sounded a bit upset to us newcomers. To tell you the truth, I don't have hours and hours to research the debates and going back years to read them. I was new to the Forum and have learned so much, maybe too much on two subjects: Mines of Moria and how they came about (WOW!!! Everyone responded to THAT ONE!) - and Gandalf and the Balrog! "Thank Eru" that is % I also apprecite everyone confirming that Shelob, the Great Evil Spider, will not be seen in Two Towers and we will just have to see what Jackson has in store for us...I mean, in The Fellowship at the end, we saw the beginning of Two Towers when Boromir died and was laid in his elvin boat to rest over the great falls. But it makes no difference how "accurate" Jackson is to me...there will be another year of debate, going back and forth on various subjects and disagreements after seeing The Two Towers. Me, I go to see them because I loved the first one, and the second is going to be incredible. It is Jackson's movie! and I think everyone around the world has loved LOTR.
