Gandalf's Staff

in reply to Strider4632, in regards to your question about Gandalf's staff. Yes, Saruman takes Gandalf's staff at Isengard. And when Gandalf is in Rivendell, he has a staff. Its a different one. Gandalf has different staffs. The first one has a little slot where he can keep his pipe, which is probably the one he always brings to the Shire. The second one has a place for Gandalf to put the stone which glows in Moria. So you can see the reason he would have different staffs. In the Two Towers, he has a tall smooth white one to match his white ensemble.
