Random Thoughts of TTT Trailer
Peter D.

Hello all - just a couple of comments on the second trailer for The Two Towers, which is of course mind-blowingly cool.
A detail that struck me in particular is the expression on Grima Wormtongues face, as he overlooks the assembled army of Isengaard. THAT is the facial expression of a man terrified of the power and hate that he has before him, even though it serves his motives.
I think we may also have been treated to a quick glimse of PJ´s cameo-appearance, with the shady shot of a marauding Hillman in what is probably a burning Rohan-farmstead.
With regards to one of the characters, or rather elements of the story that i feared really wouldnt be convincing, (as I couldnt really imagine any Eowyn that would rival Liv Tylers Arwen in beauty)- well, the all to few glimses of Miranda Otto in the trailer, pretty much makes it extremely understandable that Aragorn is torn between them for a while, and it should be another interesting theme in the movie, as in the book (as long as it does not get all mushy-MTV-romance, but I cant imagine it will).
Oh, and another thing - check out the helmet of Eomer - it has a horse-shaped nosegard! The attention to detail that we saw in the first movie seems set to continue, and as for the movie itself, I think it is going to be as good as or even better than the first.......
