November 30, 2002 Saruman's Death?! I've said it before and I'lll say it again, Saruman is not going to die in the attack of the Ents on Isengard, why? Because of the infamous face of between Saruman and Gandalf the White, for Peter Jackson to edit this scene (giving more light to how much Gandalf has changed/ strengthened) would be...well...just plain rock stupid. If he will die he will die with a knife in the back by Grima's hand, that is if Jackson wants to stay true to the books. But all in all I strongly believe Saruman WILL NOT die in the attack of the Ents at Isengard, and Peter Jackson would be very smart with giving an accurate adaptation of the trilogy (which he seems to have done, despite previous debates)as it is in the books and leaving that scene the way it goes. |
