Scouring of the Shire
Elrohir

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears that during the Lothlorien sequence, when Frodo looks into the mirror of Galadriel, there are images of hobbits in chains and the new mill in the shire, as well as various dark and forboding images which look faintly shire-ish.

I don't think they would have shot these scenes exclusively for the Mirror sequence, so perhaps we can look forward to seeing the scouring of the shire in ROTK.

Any thoughts?
