Regarding Half-elves

While it is true that half-elves who choose to favor their mortal parents do seem to live naturally longer mortal lives, it is also true that the ENTIRE Numenorean race was granted such longevity by the Valar, not just the direct diescendants of such Mortan/Elf unions. Therefore, by virtue of the fact that he is the direct descendant of the Numenorean kings, and also that his bloodline remained pure Numenorean [the Dunedain of the north marrying only within their own race]Aragorn is, as a pure-blooded Numenorean, granted a lifespan far longer than that of other men, in acordance with the Valar's ancient gift.
