Someone mentioned in an article that in the Mines of Moria, the second group of orcs might've paused because of the fact of elvish swords around them. Including Narsil, but in the movie Aragorn doen't have Narsil at this point yet. I personally believe Aragorn will recieve Narsil when The other rangers join him and bring the banner with the white tree or whatever was on it. I forget right now.
And thid is just a thought, nut if you look at the maps, it seems that Moria gate is closer to Rivendell than Hobbinton is to Rivendell. And yet they spent like 25 days or something travelling to Rivendell, and like 40 days traveling to the Moria gate. Just a little odd to me.
