Speculations of TTT (spoilers)

Appaarently I was unaware until just recently that there are pics of Saruman impaled on a spiked wheel from Orthanc. Although I still hold true to the theory that Saruman WILL NOT die in the attack of Isengard by the Ents. Instead what I theorize is going to happen is as follows: Gandalf the White and Saruman have their infamous standoff from the book in which Gandalf (major spoilers here) "breaks the power of Saruman". As the remaining mebers of the fellowship walk away Grima throws/ returns the Pilantir to Aragorn (why he did this is still a good mystery to me, if anyone has any speculations please let me know), angered by Grima's actions Saruman lashes out at him, although without his power the old man is hardly a match, the battle ensues to the top of Orthanc, where Gandalf was once held prisoner, there Saruman falls/ (is pushed?) off the edge and falls to become impaled on the spiked wheel that we see in the picture. If any of this sounds credible I'd appreciate feedback. Thanks a mill'
