How to End the Movie?

Regarding the discussion about the scouring of the Shire, it's probably true that it wouldn't fit in the movie. I don't care too much about leaving it out - though it is a shame.
What I do worry about is if Frodo is going to sail off to the West or not. If he just goes home to the Shire and lives happyly ever after, almost the whole point of the narrative will be lost. I really don't hope that PJ falls into this happy-ending-trap, and the fact that Sam's daughter Eleanor is quite a comfort.

P.S. To Razors: You are quite right that Uruk-hai's are half human. That's why they are bigger and stronger and not afraid of the sun.
