For Jakob
Peppy

Okay, in answer to your question Jakob: yes, a rock band in the '60s thought of making Lord of the Rings into a movie, but a comedy. Thankfully they gave up the idea and stuck with A Hard Days Night, Help!, and Magical Mystery Tour. Ring any bells? It was the Beatles.

They were obsessed with LOTR, and if you've ever watched Help! you'd find that the entire story revovles around Ringo, and an evil ring that he must get rid of. Sounds just a little familiar, doesn't it?
