The Council of Elrond
Marie C.

Okay, I was thinking and this came to me. So I must impose another nitpick on you all. This petains to the Council of Elrond scene in the movie. First of all, where is Bilbo? In the book both Bilbo and Frodo were present, but in the movie Bilbo is omitted. I wonder why, because his tale of finding the ring and his contest with Gollum seems important to determining if Bilbo's ring is really the One Ring. Remember, in the book this fact was questioned by many. And also in the movie, who are the other characters present at the council. Frodo, Aragorn, Boromir, Legolas, Gimli,Gandalf, and Elrond we know of, but who are the other elves, dwarfs, and men present? and why do they not speak? Any thoughts?
