Faramir and Other Things

I know they changed Faramir, but i can understand why. How could he just ignore the lure of the Ring when Aragorn and Galadriel were tempted by it and Gandalf wouldn't evan touch it. Aswell as for him being a jerk, he just found out his brother is dead, he's fighting an unwinable war and his father Denethor is not exactly been treating him that well either. Boromir was the favorite son, and Denethor makes no secret about it. Now he finds a so called companion of his dead brother sneaking about in no mans land. That would seem rather suspicious to me. Peter Jackson really just made Faramir more human and flawed.

As for going to Osgiliath, i ddin't mind, it looked good. Frodo and the Nazgul. Maybe this gives Mordor a reason to go after Minas Tirith big time, thinking that's where the ring is. Surely Sauron would think the ring is going to the White City.

Last of all, Faramir taking the winged beast of the Nazgul down with one arrow. In the book, Legolas slays one with one arrow at long range. faramir was ten feet away with a long bow.
