The Movies
Rebecca Johnson

This is just a comment on the making of the LOTR movies. 30 years ago I was required to read "The Hobbit" and I loved it and it stayed with me, I never read the Trilogy and now I am somewhat glad because I don't have the books to compare them to. I can just watch them as great adventure movies and great stories. I will be reading the books now. It is impossible to translate books into movies exactly and readers and watchers need to differentiate between the two. I personally feel the movies are captivating and much better then anything out there now. What a great undertaking this was to do. I am truly a fan once again and will reconnect with the written word. Thank you for the forum to write this and I happened upon the web site by trying to find out who the actor was portraying Aragon(Aragor?)since it was bugging me as to who he was(28 days, movie).
Thanks once a gain.
