Go tell the people of Vietnam, Irak, Afghanistan and Iran, places were lots of people were killed with AMERICAN weapons, that Bush ISN'T Sauron and USA isn't Mordor.

At this point of our history, it's pretty foolish to qualify the opposite band as being purely evil for the pleasure of being so and getting power. Thet DO have there own motivaitions, and they're as vaild for them as the motivations Americans have on their own. You think Bush fights for Justice and Freedom?

Where was American Justice when Napalm was used against vietnamese villagers? Where was American Justice when they gave weapons to the irakians (yes, the VERY SAME Bush's trying to kill now) to kill people in Iran? Where was American Justice when they gave weapons to the Talibans (yes, the VERY SAME Bush's trying to kill now) so the could kill the Russians in Afghanistan? Count how many lives have were spared there... many, maaany more than the ones lost at the WTC.

Rememeber what Sauron did at the beggining of all? He disguised as a wise man, full of principles and goodness. So he made RINGS of Power, WEAPONS, which he GAVE TO OTHERS, so they could destroy themselves, and ultimately, fall under the builder's power.

This is not an anti-American message (It would be stupid if I said America is EXACTLY Mordor, but as stupid as saying that Saddam is Sauron because "he's evil"). It's just a petition for a more equitative vision of things. You can't close your eyes to your own mistakes, and magnify other's. You can't call a close defense and blindess PATRIOTISM. You can't polarize the world in GOOD and EVIL... it's not that simple. When you fight a war, you need two bands, and each of them has their own motivations. They don't justify them, but they DO explain why they do what they do. What happened at the WTC was HORRIBLE! A tragedy! What has been happening for years in the East is HORRIBLE too! We're all human beings, not elves and orcs, so don't call upon Proffesor Tolkien's work to defend USA's attempt to start a war... that would show TRUE ignorance.
