Re: Things to Come
Andrew

The shot you saw of Moria orcs in the forest of Lothlorien, is from a cut scene of the orc pursuit into Lothlorien (you can see the storyboard for this scene on the Extended Dvd). This scene was cut because they wanted a more emotional (i guess you could say) scene for the entering to Lothlorien. However they did shoot this scene. So far I have seen many hints and little shots of this scene. In the theatrical version, we see that shot of Legolas drawing an arrow and pointing at the camera ready to shoot. This is definitly from this scene, as you can see Boromir and the hobbits walking behind him in a forest (it can't be from the Breaking of the Fellowship scene) so this is from the pursuit into Lothlorien. And also in the second teaser trailer for Fotr, you see a shot of Aragorn in the forest with the Fellowship, and an arrow flies past his face as he leans back to avoid it. In the back of this shot, you can see the Moria orcs, and you can also see Legolas shooting arrows at them.

Also, during the documentaries on the theatrical version Dvd, there are different "making of" shots that show Moria orcs running through the forest, and such. So there are several different previews of this scene.

I, for one, do hope that they release a super Dvd featuring the whole trilogy, with new scenes, and maybe we'll even see the outtake reels we've been hearing about!
