Mithril Miner, I do not have an answer for you, but I do have what Arwen said:

Perhaps she was calling him directly, so she used his proper name. I honestly don't know. That is an excellent question.

P.S. (another question) is there a verb in Sindarin for "to be, exist?" This question was posted before (I forget by whom) but it was never answered.
