Wish List for 2003 Oscars
Tom M.

I've read that the Academy had decided to postpone honors for LOTR until next year. Assuming that the voters intend to shower the trilogy with awards, I thought maybe we could metaphysically push this along.

For best picture: LOTR: The Return of the King
For best director: Peter Jackson

Since Hollywood loves 'transforming' characters, I'd say best actor: Elijah Wood (Mordor scenes)

Best Supporting actor: Viggo Mortensen (so there is no competition)

Best supporting actress: Miranda Otto

Best Score: Howard Shore

Best Costumes (the wedding scene)

Best art direction

Best adapted screenplay

Best SFX

Any others?
