Don't feel to bad about Pippin not dying yet, Burnett, since he's not due to die until the battle at the Gates of Mordor in ROTK. As for Aragorn and the Elves, I think the Elves have more respect for Aragorn than you believe, even in the movie. In the extended DVD Celeborn gives a lot of advice to Aragorn that seems more that of a concerned kinsman than impartial strategist, and just the fact that Haldir lets him into the Golden Wood at all [again in the movie] implies that Aragorn has a lot of sway with the Elves. And for more evidence, don't forgat at [movie] Helm's Deep Haldir defer supreme command of his immortal troops to the mortal Aragorn.

Thanks for your post Beleg. I agree Eru's word would be the Valinorean, and thinking about it would have to be some kind of imperitive [what else would create the Universe?]. As to the -be- issue, Beleg you were right, although my source seems to indicate the both the Quenya and Sindarin is the prefix n-, whereas na- would mean "of" in Sindarin. Assuming my sourcea are right, of course. Any other info?

And has anyone heard from Annatar lately?
