Elrond's Words to the Army
Radagast the Brown

"I have been trying to find out what elrond says to the elvish army. I can't find anything that says the real word that he used. I would gess that it is sindarin since that is what most elves speak. I know that it is something like "Ready, Aim, Fire!" but I want the real words. Can anyone help this poor elvish lord(me, of course)?"

What Elrond says is:

"Tangado haid! Hado i philinn"

I'm not sure what Tangao Haid means, but Hado i phillin means "Release the Arrows" or "Release arrows" Tangado Haid may mean "prepare your bows" or something to that effect.

'Phillin' means Arrow though, I know that for sure. Aragorn says "Hado i Phillin" at the battle for Helm's Deep, giving the command to release the arrows...Tolkien purists may want to correct me on my elvish, but I think thats close to the mark (arrow pun intended).
