Oopsie!

Ummm...One of my last submissions, titled "Frodo, Boromir, and Osgiliath" didn't make sense. Or rather, the ARTICLE made sense and the title didn't. I covered my opinions on Frodo and Boromir but never mentioned Osgiliath. Sorry. I had been going to continue and talk about a reason thought the movie may have sent Frodo and Sam to Osgiliath, but I was interrupted and unable to finish. So, to continue, I think that they (the nameless 'they' who are the movie makers) felt that the scene between Frodo and the Nazgul when he nearly gave up the Ring was important because it showed Frodo's deterioration. But, had that really happened, Sauron would have heard about it double quick. So, I think that they might have taken the hobbits to Osgiliath to make Sauron think that the Ring was in the possession of Gondor, so that he would hurry his attack rather than stopping the hobbits' quest. Which would make everything go smoothly all round. Just my opinion: do you guys think I'm looking to deeply into it? What're your opinions?
