I have the Extended Edition, and I know what scene you're talking about. I'm almost certain he does pronounce it "Galathon", though. It's an easy thing to miss. But Haldir particularly really seemed to do well with names: Celeborn he pronounced Keleborn, and (unless I'm mistaken; I'm not the most observant person in the world) he did pronounce the "dh" as "th". What I would like some help on is the pronunciation of Earendil's name. Have I been making a mistake in putting the emphasis on the "a"? It just never sounded right to me that way, but I'm bad with that kind of thing. Help, anyone?
