Regarding Gandalf the Grey
Anthony T.

To Curious George...

Gandalf the Grey is physically destroyed during his battle with the Balrog. But the Lords of the West send him back until his task against Sauron is defeated. Then Gwahir finds him in the mountains, and Gandalf asks to be taken to Galadriel in Lothlorien. Galadriel doesn't give him any of her power. But after he returns from death, he is no longer trully physical by nature, being more just a manifestation of power through light.
Yay Gandalf!
