...and Later Today, a Breakthrough!

Mehtare, I DO remember! When I first read your submission I didn't, but the more I thought about it, the more I wondered, so before my Math period today I did a little mind-searching to see if I had anything helpful stored away in my memory (it's an interesting thing, the mind). And then it hit me! I remembered hearing Sam say the line...but I don't think he was saying, "God save us". He was climbing up a hill at the time and so was panting, and when he got his first good look at those menacing Black Gates, he muttered, "Oh, save us!"...and then went on to deliver his Gaffer line. But he was breathing hard, and that made it hard to understand. I remember thinking the same thing the first time I saw it, but after the second and third times (do I seem a little obsessed?) I cleared the matter up with myself and then forgot about it. Until today. So, I hope that helps: but I'll still be checking the subtitles when the movie comes out, just in case (I don't even trust myself). I doubt PJ would have let that slip. Whew. Have a good day! :)
