Female Orcs: Response to Brett C.

I found it interesting that Brett C. said in his article that the orc women must be held virtual prisoners by their husbands/mates.
But what if the women faught right along side the men? If Melkor the Morgoth tortured women elves into orcs, he would not have kept them in his castle to knit him a sweater. He needed all the soldiers he could get--especially when the Valar attacked.

Because of this I cannot help but think the female orcs fight right along side the male.
