Harry Potter vs. Lord of the Rings
Tiniowien

I understand the comparison between Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, being the two greatest stories of the 20th and 21st centuries. I am a diehard fan of both. I believe, however, that the Harry Potter movies did not do justice to the books and the Lord of the Rings trilogy did. To anyone who has only seen the HP movies: please do not judge the books on that basis! LotR is an epic trilogy that people of all ages can enjoy, while the HP movies are lesser and designated for the 'nerd kids'. Thats how I interpret collective public opinion, anyway.
