I must admit I was wrong. Morgoth would keep them from battle to mate (BUT they might have knitted his poor little spirit a sweater, ya never know!)Sorry I didn't think that one through!

I have another question, though:

Did orcs actually have villages and the like, or were they nomads. From TT, I get the impression that they're nomads, but then, of course, where are the women?

P.S. I have a question on elvish: how are lh and rh pronounced? It says they are unvoiced (and the great linguist that I am!) I have absolutely no idea what that means!
