On Return of the King Changes
Andrew

In response to G's article, I too am thinking about how the storyline of Return of the King will be changed. I mean, with all the stuff from the Two Towers that wasn't in the second movie, and the Scouring of the Shire being ommitted, one begins to wonder just what exactly will and will not be changed.

I don't think Peter Jackson would dare change the Mount Doom scenes. I mean, he doesn't seem to have touched many of the important scene much at all so far. Things like the prologue story, and the Bridge of Kazad-dum sequence, Boromir's death, things like that. He didn't change anything in those scenes, and any little things that he altered a bit made them better, so I'm not worried about big scenes like the parley with Saruman, or the death of Denethor, or Mount Doom, or the Gray Havens.

I have confidence that Return of the King will be pretty faithful. Peter Jackson said that Two Towers was going to be the least faithful, so we know that there won't be anything big things like what happened in Two Towers.

I'm extremely curious as to what the return of Sauron is going to look like. We know its gonna happen. We've gotten hints from Peter jackson and there are rumours of his return, so I'm curious as to just what is going to happen. Whatever PJ has in store, we know its gonna be good!
