Moving On
In the Land of Mordor

Does anyone else find it a little unsettling that certain other people are insinuating in their posts that smart people read LOTR and stupid people read HP?

Do these same people not take into account that some people enjoy both book series?
What does that make us, mediocre minds?
I personally think that both books have good and bad merits, and they are wholly separate works. Nitpicking similarities between the two, like Fang, elves, black cloaked bad guys, is just that, nitpicking.

Now if JK Rowling was attempting to REWRITE LOTR that would be a different story...
(Incidentally she writes under JK so that, at least in the beginning, young boys wouldn't know it was written by a girl and refuse to read it)
But moving on...

In response to G(money?) most of the events that happenend in ROTK and at the end of TTT are going to be in the last movie, but be prepared for anything. And I don't see any pressure from Hollywood to make Frodo an action hero or anything like in ROTK for (2) reasons.
1--PJ hasn't done it yet, why start now?
2--There already is an action hero (Aragorn).

PS I don't apologize for the length of my post-why should I?
