RotK Movie (With Or Without Changes)
Manofwesternesse

Huge sigh of relief & many thanks to Andrew,Tiniowien,Tomas,Annatar, G & X for the return to rationality (If I missed out on anyone, apologies).

Andrew, In general I have to agree, PJ was pretty faithful on the 'big' scenes. Just one I am unsure on thou & that is the whole Lothlorien scene including Galadriels gifts (talking Theatre release here , I do'nt even own a DVD player - never mind any EE to play on it (sob!)). For me that was always a key scene/episode in the Book & I tend to think PJ skimped on it a bit.

Thomas, I truly hope your conjecture on the Paths of the Dead prove out. I would absolutely love to have the PoTD included, together with the consequences of same (Theoden/Eomer's uncertainty going into battle without Aragorn & Aragorn/Eomer's meeting on the Pelennor "..thou all the hosts of Mordor stand between..." as predicted by Aragorn.

It's going to be the greatest movie of all time, and contrary to my expectation the year is rolling along nicely toward it (just getting old I expect)
