X, one thing I've learned is that PJ is all for monsters...I doubt he could sleep easy if there were no trolls in the battle at the Gate. I mean, the troll in Moria was barely mentioned in the book and PJ made it an entire scene's work in the movie...and a troll is specifically mentioned in the ROTK book, if I do recall correctly...so I don't think there's any cause for fear. I, like you, look forward to the battle (although I can't say I've ever had much fondness for trolls...).
