Though this isn't the question you asked, I MUST tell you that you can get the Extended Edition without a DVD player: did you know there's a VHS version in widescreen you can get? Go to www.amazon.com, in the seach box to the side,scroll down and pick "VHS" as your category, and then type "Lord of the Rings: Extended Edition" in the search box below. You'll find the FOTR with all the missing scenes in it for, if I'm not mistaken, 10% off! I really hope this helps!
