How Much is Too Much?
Lilly

Looking back I saw an article that mentioned a picture from a cut scene in the FOTR. The scene depicted the fellowship actually getting pursued to Lothlorien by orcs out of Moria. This they took out and never put back in. A few days ago I actually found the picture, and in the commentary on the DVD Peter Jackson mentioned it and said something to the effect of "I suppose we'll make another extended edition and put that back in".

Now for my point: I LOVE the extended DVD and think that the scenes added make a huge difference...but I think that they are plenty. Do we really need more? Wouldn't the orc scene take away from the emotion caused by the scenes in Moria at the Bridge? If another version does come out, I don't think I'll be getting it: it would be too much...like an over-decorated dress...to stuffy, you know? I think it's perfect as it is and that they ought to leave well enough alone. Well, that's my opinion. Anyone stand with me?
