I had that same idea, only I had Sam throw Gollum over the edge. However, that was only a figment of my own imagination, not a prediction.

I don't think Frodo will rise to heroism...I think that position is reserved for Sam. After watching the TT, I think that Frodo is depicted as more of a martyr...a sad sort of tale. And it really works that way: I doubt Jackson would spoil it by making him violent.

But I look forward to Sam's battle with Shelob! Go, Sam!!
