Hooks on the Moria Orcs' Armour
Andrew

To Pathes_of_the_Dead, I heard about the hooks on the armour in the production teams commentary, (at least, i think that was the one i heard it on). It was John Howe who says it. He talks about it during the Balin's tomb scene, or the cahse through Dwarrowdelf. I can't be exactly sure where it was, but I know for a fact that is what it is. It might even have been Peter Jackson who said it, or Richard Taylor. Whoever said it, I'm absolutely positive thats the explanation for the wall climbing.
