| May 19, 2003 Year of Lamentation Lilly, without being able to refer to the any of the books (I'm at work right now), I think that the Year of Lamentation might have to do with the Fifth Battle, also known as the Nirnaeth Arnoediad, when much of the glory of Beleriand was destroyed in battle with Morgoth. That was the first thing that came to mind, but I might be totally off-base. Experts, please correct me. |
