This and That

First off, in response to G, what I meant when I said "I'll only have to wait a month" was that I'd have to wait from November to December....

The Extended TT doesn't come out until November over here either...I was saying that if the Smeagol-to-Gollum scene wasn't in the Extended that I'd have to wait a month (untill December) to watch the ROTK and see if it made it into that movie. Sorry for the confusion.

Second, thanks to everyone for sharing their stories.

Also, I reallllllly hope that this forum will thrive long after the ROTK ends. None of my friends (except three) have ever read the LOTR, and those who have aren't even a fraction as thrilled about it as I am. I can never get into a conversation about them with anyone to share my feelings about such-and-such a topic, and whenever I try to comment about the movie's representation of such-and-such a thing they (my friends) all groan and cover their ears because they know that I can go on forever about the LOTR. It's frustrating.

So thanks for being interested and for sharing experiences and agreeing (or disagreeing...it's all good;) ) with me about the LOTR. It's a huge relief. And so I send you best wishes from where I am and remain yours sincerelly.
