Odds & Ends
Mr. Underhill

Hey Amy, as to your question about Frodo's "Ring Vision," I think this was mainly an invention of the film-makers. However, I guess you could speculate that this was because the great Annatar had returned and was looking for the One.
I think the sight of his great eye would freak anyone out, and mess up their vision! ;-)

Also, I heard on one of the DVD documentaries that they thought the ripple effect would be a cool way to make it seem ethereal and other worldly. So there ya go!

To Lilly, I'm also very excited about those scenes and the music. (Can't wait!)

Lord Annatar, I was going to ask you for your last ring, but I found a cooler one in my uncle's closet. It's a simple gold band, but one day I dropped in the fire and it had this uber=cool red writing on it. I think I'll keep this one instead ;-)

Hobbitly yours,

Mr. Underhill
