The Island Continent of Aman

Jarrickon Falconn, I think you will find that Aman was referred to as both island and continent (much like Australia is considered an island continent). I think the point is that it is self-contained ie there are no other races, nations that border the realms of the Valar and Elves. Now that it has been removed from the circles of the world, I’m not sure what you’d call it.
