June 3, 2003 Ahh, Now I Remember... Greetings, again. After re-reading some of yall's (yes, I do live in Louisiana) aricles, I remembered some of the things I wished to comment on in my last submission. Lilly, the sons of Elrond, (Elrohir and Elladan, I believe are their names, but once more, I could be wrong) along with the Rangers of Eriador, came to Aragorn AFTER the battle for Helm's Deep, bearing messages and the standard of Arwen. Also, the only people to have come back to life after death were Beren and Luthien, during the quest of the Silmaril. Also, in reference to the battle between Gandalf and Saruman, (which NEVER TOOK PLACE IN THE BOOK!) Gandalf was unable to defeat Saruman simply because Saruman was more powerful than Gandalf. And many people misunderstand the powers of the Elven Rings of Power. Narya (Gandalf's Ring) had the power to strengthen hearts and give hope to those in dark places. You must understand, these Rings were not made for war. In fact, it is quite the opposite. They were made to help preserve the dying land of Middle-Earth. Unless you look at it from Sauron's point of view. In that case, it is all a conspiracy to enslave all speaking beings in MIddle-Earth. One last thing before I go. It seems that i was mistaken on one certain issue. Elrond is not the High King of the Noldor. After the fall of Gil-galad, during the Last Alliance, there was no High King of the Noldor. My mistake...
