Lily, as far as feeling foolish for being excited and enthusiastic about something we all love, forget it! I know what it is like to love Tolkien and feel like no one else is as obsessed as I am. You should meet my step son, the two of you could talk for hours. And I am sorry for the loss of your cat, I have cats and dogs of my own and nothing can ever replace them when they are gone.

As far as the MTV awards show goes, last year's parody was pretty erreverent too, but it was funny. At least Gollun's language was beeped out. Personally I loved the little acceptance short by PJ, with Bernard Hill and Viggo Mortensen. It was really cute.

As far as the Hulk goes, in all the advertising I have seen he literally looks like a cartoon, and I am thoughly unimpressed with what I have seen, but I won't be going to see it anyway.

Favorite changed scene in TTT: Elves at Helms Deep. Least favorite: Aragorn's feigned death.
